Permissions & Integrations
No hidden data collection or black box. Aye only reads what is strictly necessary to prepare proposals. Nothing in your store changes without your explicit 'Yes'.
Shopify API permissions (scopes)
- 1. Read products (read_products): To analyze your catalog, variants, prices, and descriptions to provide actionable suggestions.
- 2. View inventory (read_inventory): To monitor stock levels across locations and alert you before stockouts or overstock occur.
- 3. Analyze orders (read_orders): To calculate sales velocity and revenue trends. We do not process personal customer data (PII) for these analytics.
- 4. Update products (write_products): Exclusively used when you explicitly approve a proposal in Aye (e.g. updating a title, tag, or price). Never run automatically in the background.
Ad Integrations (Meta & Google)
Aye connects in read-only mode to your ad accounts to evaluate ROAS, click costs, and impressions against your shop revenue. Aye cannot increase budgets or launch campaigns without your explicit approval.
How do you revoke access?
Uninstall Aye under Settings > Apps in Shopify Admin to revoke the app’s Shopify access. Disconnecting in Aye only removes the Shopify credential stored locally by the dashboard. It does not revoke tokens in Shopify or Aye OS; use Shopify uninstall for that.
